Paul and Renee Donanhue moved to Michigan in 2018 from Las Vegas, seeking refuge from living in a stressful city with 24/7/365 high stress jobs.

Trapped in their cabin during the polar vortex of January 2019, they decided on a whim that starting a lavender farm sounded like a great new venture. Since it was too late to vender plugs for a 2019 planting season, Renee began the steep learning curve of growing our first plants from seed. Today, they grow 16 varieties of English Lavender and three varieties of Lavandin spread over five  fields on two acres. At the Market, they offer lavender blossom infused soap, lotion, aromatherapy rollerballs, linen spray, and more, in addition to lavender plants.
