Naturally Better Soil Products’ family-owned farms, Scenic View Dairy (Fennville) and Brook View Dairy (Freeport) began producing renewable energy from the manure 20 years ago.

In 2024, they formed Naturally Better Soil Products and began producing certified compost and licensed specialty fertilizer for home gardens, vegetable farms, landscapers and vineyards. Their products are free of odor, fly larvae, weed seeds, and pathogens, and approved for use by organic growers. Their products are sold at independent hardware stores, garden centers, and landscape yards across West Michigan.
