What started as a simple farmers market stand has manifested into Michigan’s largest kombucha company to date.

What’s Kombucha? Kombucha is an effervescent, non-alcoholic fermented tea that’s made of water, tea, sugar and a live culture called a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast). Lively Up Kombucha started in 2017 as a means to bring the local community together through crafting organic kombucha and sharing it with others. Owners Brenna Kelley and Zackery Smith began brewing kombucha at home and fell in love with the process and the healthy benefits they experienced. Their passionate for fermented foods inspired them to brew a low sugar non-alcoholic kombucha that anyone can truly enjoy.
