Leutz Fruits and Veggies
Gerald Leutzinger took a big risk when he quit his long-term job at a local canning factory and bought a large farm in the late 1970’s.
When he passed away in 2021 at the age of 82, his wife Margaret took over ownership of the farm. Today, Leutzinger Farms, affectionately known as Leutz Fruits and Veggies, is operated by their son Terry and grandson Seth, who you’ll often see running their stall at the Holland Farmers Market. They grow apples, asparagus, cherries, strawberries, peaches, and so much more on over 500 acres of farmland in Shelby.
