Market Kids Activities
August 5 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Join us at the Kids Activities at the Holland Farmers Market every Wednesday this summer! Free for families to attend, beginning Wednesday, June 10 and continuing every Wednesday through August 12!
The Kids Activities begin with Market Story Time hosted by the Herrick District Library at 9:30 am, followed by a fun, educational, and hands-on activity for children hosted by our generous community partners!
Kids Activities will take place in the northwest parking lot outside of the Holland Civic Center. Activities are free to attend and families can drop in anytime to join the fun! A parent/guardian must remain present at all times. The Market Kids Activities are proudly sponsored by Corewell Health.
August 5 | Critter Barn
Agriculture Education
Join Critter Barn for two hands-on activities that introduce kids to the plant lifecycle and native wildlife. Children will plant a seed in a small bag with a damp cotton ball to hang in a window, allowing them to observe the seed’s growing process up close! They’ll also create a seed “bomb” filled with native wildflower seeds to scatter outside their homes, helping support local wildlife and promote healthy ecosystems.
