Learn why it’s so important to do your part to keep the water in the Macatawa Watershed clean with a variety of fun activities that include live aquatic insects\, fun games\, and hands-on crafts! \n\n\n\nJuly 9Corewell Health – Safety First!The injury prevention team from Corewell Health will be here to teach children and parents all about bike and swim safety for the summer. They will have bike helmets on hands so parents and kids can learn how to fit and wear a helmet correctly to stay safe. They’ll also have important educational flyers available on water and car seat safety too! \n\n\n\nJuly 16Latin Americans United for Progress – Fiesta at the MercadoCelebrate Fiesta Week in Downtown Holland and join our friends at LAUP for a fun and interactive cultural activity! Learn about all the exciting recreation programming Holland Recreation has to offer children and adults in our community too! \n\n\n\nJuly 30Children’s Advocacy Center – Body SafetyDon’t miss this important activity on body safety for children\, hosted by the trained educators from the Children’s Advocacy Center. In addition to leading classes\, they provide pollination services for growers\, produce honey that is available in local stores\, and provide bees and equipment to area beekeepers. Don and Jean operate a beekeeping store in Holland and represent the Holland Area Beekeeping Association. \n\n\n\nAbout the Summer Enrichment Series:Join the Holland Farmers Market all season long for our Summer Enrichment Series! These fun and affordable series of classes are held on the fourth Saturday of the month from June through September. Topics include beekeeping\, composting\, healthy cooking\, and more\, with all sessions hosted by local experts and friends of the Market! We hope they help enrich your life just a little this summer! \n\n\n\nClasses are held at 10:00 am on the last Saturday of the month in the upstairs Market View room inside the Holland Civic Center at 150 West 8th Street. Classes are an hour long and are just $10 each to attend! Advanced registration is recommended as space is limited\, however\, walk-ins are welcome if space allows. for $10 cash or check at the door. Attendees are invited to shop the Holland Farmers Market either before or after class! \n\n\n\nAdmission fees are non-refundable.
