My journey as a farmer was inspired by my dad, who was also a farmer, who instilled the work ethic and passion for this lifestyle onto me.

It was through my father that my love for plants began as well, and I sought out to further develop my knowledge and abilities in gardening when I decided to join what was then known as Walters Garden as a worker. After a few years, and with a tremendous amount of experience behind me, I ventured out and created my own business selling plants, eggs, and blueberries in 1979. When I am not tending to my farm, I spend my time working at Engelsman Greenhouse.
